My Grandfather was a huge Seahawks fan; devoted and true regardless of team status and rank. I have proudly followed in his footsteps. My family is a fan of many teams but in the end, it is our love for the game that counts. There is nothing better than throwing some food on the grill, grabbing some drinks and all of us in our team jerseys watching football all day on Sunday.

When I saw the team play last year at the U of P stadium, I was surrounded by red, so close to the field and end zone…and my heart sank when we lost… but I stood tall anyway and cheered for my team! I was screaming and jumping…pregnant. My support to you and the Hawks! I am a true and devoted fan...through the good games and the bad. Keep up the hard work and best wishes for a fantastic season to you and ALL of the Hawks!

GO HAWKS!

Hey buddy, Sorry about the loss (to say the least) on sunday. Things look bad right now but you'll always have your real fans the whole way. I know that my family will never miss a game, and will always support you and the Hawks! My daughter always picks out your jersey to wear, It's her favorite and She's only a year old.

hello Matt, dont know if you actually read these butt i think you might. My daughter and i are huge hawks fans and always been a hass fan since you came. we just want to say thank you, I know this sport is hard and the fact that you find humor in even the worst situations lets us know that it not just the $$$ that makes you play, but to have fun is something even greater. you are an inspiration and if you ask us who our favorite player is my 10 year old daughter will yell HASSELLBECK- thanks again and good luck this season-

Matt, you did great Sunday. I've never written you before but I believe you deserve to finally hear from me. I glanced at some of the other letters and anybody that says shame on you or reprimands you for the way you performed on the field or on the sidelines needs to pull thier head out. If you were any more accurate the ball would've went down thier throats (mabey not such a bad thing). Damn right of you to momentarily turn your back on Nate. I could see your anger at towards your receivers. That's what it took for him to do his job. I do feel badly for Mr. Burleson. Although he did try to juke when he wasn't square. That will ruin your knees everytime as you know. 18-1 the right way. One play at a time. Boy it's too bad the hawk's net sight broke down monday I too had a few choice words. Something about playing catch with K-Y. Anyway if you ever breakdown in the desert go to the Sandbar I mechanic across the street. Your fan and Seahawk fan. Arnold
P.S. Sure wish you had more time after the snap.

Hi Matt

I do not know if you read these or not. I have a little boy who is 15 and is special needs and has alot of health issues too. He can not talk but he loves to watch Football. Last year Grandma got him Seahawk stuff for his bed. His teacher got him a poster of you for his room. When we go and get him for the bus, He taps your poster every morning and every night before he goes to bed. He gets so excited every time you guys are on. He will never be able to go to any of your games. Cause of his issues. He has seizures and other stuff. So we try not to take him to far from home. Plus would either be too cold or hot for him. I wanted to let you know that he loves to watch you. Do you ever do any visits on this side of the mountains.

Hello Matt, I've been a fan since 79' and actually worked in the Kingdome at the top of the dome restaurant. I was very mad like everyone else but for a different reason: I KNOW YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT!!!!! and I think you do to. You must make the line work harder on stamina and technique. They looked gassed in the 2nd quarter. When you have time to throw you're the best Seattle has ever had!!!! Bottom line GET ON THAT O LINE!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. YOGA for your back?!

Don Smith     8. September 2008 | Petaluma CA
My son and I are traviling to see you and the rest of the hawks on Spt 21st. I hope that the oline can give you some more time to throw the ball. I have been a fan from day one in 1976. The last few years have been great for my son and I. Thank you all for the great seasons

Shame on you Matt. We watched you totally put your nose in the air to Nate on national TV not once but twice. We always thought you were real people but it appears you now see yourself as too important to listen to your teammates. No excuses. Nate deserves a real apology and you need to get humble in your heart or our wonderful team is doomed. Pride goes before the fall...
Get right. Saleing soup doesn't make you all that. Treat your team members with respect and if you have something to say then say it. Don't act like you're too good to speak to your team mates, because you're not. We always thought you were cool. What happened?

You did your best today without any strong recievers. The Bills D was all over you. I still applaud your had work and leadership skills. ROCK ON!

Matt,
Been a Seahawk Fan since 1983. Lived in Denver during the John Elway years. We're better than the Bronco's! Happy & proud to say that. Wrote a letter to NFL.com asking them to PLEASE give the Seattle Seahawks more airtime. Afterall...we do have one of the best linebacking cores in the NFL! You really did well last year as we didn't have a running game. Thanks to Morris, he gave us some third down conversions. This year is going to be different, just by watching the preseason games. I pray to god you stay healthy. You're a tough guy in a league of primadonnas! I know you'll take us all the way.

Matt, I wish I would have bought a #8 jersey instead of the "no more" # 37. Anyway, Seahawks ROCK, and i would love nothing more than to see holmgren go out on top with all you guys takin the super bowl. I was devistated in 05'. Give em hell and I cant wait for the super bowl. Good Luck #8

Bruce     5. September 2008 | Buffalo
Matt,
I know you're playing the my hometown team, the Bill's. But you're my fantasy QB and I need a win this week against a rival team from last season's FFL. Guys in the league are busting on me for picking you. Please throw for 3+ TDs to Nate Burleson (1 of my WR's) and 400+ yds. If you can do all that and still lose to Buffalo that would be perfect.

Thanks,
Bruce

Just had to say, been a Seahawks fan for over 25 years, started pulling for the hawks in 1980 the very first time they beat the San Diego chargers on monday nite football, remember the score 42-24 after that Seattle wheres my heart was and will always be through the wins and the loses, and living here in alabama its hard to get seahawks gear but i;ve gotten it someway.
Keep up the great work, your and excellent QB, wish you and all the team the best in 2008-09, and hope and pray you all make the superbowl and win it for mike, and the team and finally the trueblue fans!
the bluewave is on a roll!!!

good luck!!!
