As a family of avid Hawks fans (our son's middle name is Hawk) we wanted to let you know we think you are the best out there! Also wanted to let you know we pray for you, not just that you would play great, but that God would keep you strong and use you to His glory. 
This is our last football season in the US for a few years (moving to the Philippines as missionaries) so we are planning to enjoy every minute of football we can this year!

Matt,My wife and I are going to be staying at the Millennium Hotel in downtown minneapolis Thursday, and Friday night! I have a good idea where the Seahawks are staying but not for sure like I was in Green Bay! I also signed my 2 boys up for the bring a player to school Sweepstakes! My 12 yr old is a Seahawk fan and is disappointed that he is not coming to Minnesota with us !! Matt,I see that you only played a couple of plays in the scrimage game Saturday!!!Will that be the case Friday? Im coming to see the new Seahawks like Jones,duckett,Forsett,Taylor,Jackson,Calson,but me as a fan will be watching our running game and Receivers, I know our defence good!!!even though they did not play like it in Green Bay last year!!!As a long time Seahawk Fan I beleive we are going to be good but looking at our schedule is good going to be enough!! I beleive we will only go as far as you Go your play will determine how far we go this year!!I know that you can take us there!!Superbowl 2009! nothing less!From your #1 fan!!!

Matt, Next Thursday my wife and I are heading up to Minnesota for the game on Friday we are going to Mall of America Friday before the game.I Got the tickets (sec135 row 2 seats 11&12 )and I also received my 12th man Jersey today.from seahawks.com Matt we have been planning this trip since the schedule came out!!Hope the leg is ok??? I am looking forward to watching you guide the troops to another NFC West championship.I am also very confident that you guys will finally bring the Vince Lombardi trophy home to Seattle. Matt,The Red Hasselbeck jersey must be a popular Jersey this year cause NFL.com had mine on back order and I was not going to get it before the Aug,8th game so I ordered the 12th man jersey from seahawks .com so I would have a new jersey for the game..I still want a Hasselbeck jersey,, but I want something nobody has!!!!so PLEASE give me the one you wear on aug 8th we will be in the 2nd row behind the seahawks bench.From the hasselbeck fans in Wisconsin!!!GO HAWKS!!
