Matt,
I wanted to tell you that you are my 9 year old son Dylan's hero. He plays for the local Seahawks Peewee team. This year he has a project called the wax mueseum where he must dress up as someone he admires and then give a presentation in class.. Guess who he chose! Thank you for being such a positive influence on my son!

hey there Matt,

just want to say it is an honour to write this that you might actually read it. I made the trip to Seattle in 2004 to watch you guys play the Bills. It was the most awesome experience i have ever had in my entire life. I have a poster of you hanging in my room along with all my other Seahawks memorabilia. I think you are one of the best Quarterbacks we have ever had. I am so proud that you are our leader. There was no prouder moment for me than the end of the NFC title game when the fans were chanting "superbowl...superbowl" I was so proud to be a fan of the Seahawks. I am so proud of you for leading us. You truly are great.

thanks so much and good luck the rest of the year. I know you can lead us. I believe in you.

Dear Matt you are my biggest hero all-time... i think you are the best quarterback in the NFL to play all-time. i dont care what the so called "experts" say. they dont know nothing, you know. so to hell with them and win that super bowl that i know you and the rest of the seahawks deserve.

best regards Johannes

Dear Matt,

My hat is off to you for the way you fought during the excruciating loss to New Orleans. I imagine it's a negative feeling to lose, but I admired how you stayed composed and fought until that final whistle blew. If you have to carry this team by throwing the ball 50 times/game, so be it. Nobody wants to step up on the line and in the backfield, so I admired how you threw the team on your shoulders and fought for every inch you could get. Keep plugging away and doing your thing; you're still one of the best in the league and your patience will pay off...this team cannot sink and I have confidence that you'll be back. You're way too talented. Stay up and keep the fire!

I don't honestly know if you even read this guest book but I think you are one of the top Q.B's in the league. And am glad you play for my favorite team. Lets roll the AINTS this week and show them what a top NFC team is really like. Id like to see more shotgun formations also. Thanks! GO HAWKS!!!

Matt,

I can only guess what a tough loss this last game vs Pittsburgh was for you and the team. I have been a Seahawk fan my whole life. If I had the chance to ask one question it would be "how bad do you want to win?" I could see what I viewed as a unusual lack of confidence on everyone's face last Sunday. I think that sometimes money, commercials, stats, get in the way of the pure joy that the game is supposed to be about. Find that joy again, and I guarantee a win. GO HAWKS!!!

Thank you for reading,

Alright Matt.

I'll admit, that was a tough loss.

Lets move on. We are still 3-2 with the Saints coming to town for Sunday Night Football!

Do not let up know, Arizona is a legitimate threat to our division crown this year.

If we can go into the bye week at 5-2 we are still looking good for the playoffs. Get-r-done!

GO HAWKS!!

Matt,
I know that you were injured last season and this may be a concern but you do not look comfortable at all in the pocket. Your feet are dancing like you are getting ready for the TV show, "Dance with the Stars". Against the Steelers did you have an issue with going to your sure hands tight end?
Also could you please tell Mike that you can throw the ball more than 5 yards. His play calling is so predictible and boring I at home know the next play. Just think what the opposing defensive coordinator knows!
I hope you can overcome the issues that you and the team are going thru. I root for you but I am actually leaving home during games because I can't handle it.

Dear Matt:

I admire you both as a humble individual and football player. I love the Seahawks and will continue to be a fan forever, but where is the emotion in this football team?! Your defense held Willie Parker to a subpar first half and had 3 sacks, playing inspired football. They looked terrible late in the game because they couldn't get off the field! Where is Shaun and a bigger question: where is his enthusiasm? I know his hand is injured, but how long do we have to use his wrist as a crutch? I am just a fan, but this is a great football team that just seems to lack any emotional leadership on the field. In that Super Bowl year, I felt like you got after guys and established yourself as this team's leader. We need somebody to step up and play with some emotion. Even Coach Holmgren doesn't seem to show any care after getting whipped 21-0!
