Matt, im a huge Seahawk fan and Deomcrat...dont listen to what anyone is saying...you make millions of dollars playing a great game and you are a captin on a team and in a city where people love you..i understand why you dont run off and join the war. Dont listen to them and keep playing football that is your passion and you do it well. Good luck against the Bengals and the rest of the year..stay healthy and ill see you in Glendale on Feburary 3rd.

You are a great role model for youth.

Please don't bring politics into the game of football. I don't think it is the time or the place to be posting your political views. Matt has his right to be associated with whatever political party he wishes. On this site, let's concentrate on next weeks game and also getting revenge on Cardinals when they come to QWEST on Dec. 9. It's just one game and it's early in the season. And like the survey says, "It's too early to tell". We'll be fine. A true fan will stand by your side, win or lose! Garrett

Hello Mr. Hasselbeck I just finished watching the Arizona game dont let it throw you off course and know that your fans and I are all behind you, you are a true leader you kept your cool during a number of bad calls and unlucky events its just one game although it would have been nice to get a "W" now you know where you stand, it is time to turn the page and focus on week 3. it is more true now than it has ever been in order to be #1 you must practice like #2 and keep your team as well as yourself with that world champion attitude because after all you are going to the big show this year and thats the only way to look at it. Now lets get our game faces on and hit week three with the power, the speed, and the accuracy I know every player is capable of.

Dear, Matt Hasselbeck;

I admire you a lot a lot like a role-model to me, like my father. I hope to be like you when I grow up. I have posters of you and your jersey not your real jersey lol.

Thank you!

pete    15. September 2007 | ND
as the poster just before said so well......I admire your abilities as a quarterback, however,
being the young, healthy Republican war supporter that you are, I highly recommend that you follow in the steps of real men like Pat Tillman. You should enlist in a war that you advocate, and be an example for future Republican men. We all know that real men back up their convictions with action and if the Republican party is to survive, more of the talkers need to be doers. At one point Bush said that this fight is a fight for civilization. Do you and your Republican counterparts hear the call?
Good luck with your season and your comfortable position in Seattle.

Matt;

I saw that you attended a $1000-a-plate fundraiser for pro-Iraq War Congressman Dave Reichert. I find it difficult to comprehend that someone of military age who supports the war does not join the ranks of the brave young men and women in Iraq. Sir please consider the consequences of your actions especially if they impact other people's families.

Hi Matt,
Don't let the critics of the who Presidential thing get you down. They're just letting politics get in the way of their own happiness. There's a lot more of us who are behind you for the long haul.

God bless, and keep playing such great ball. You were pretty accurate last week in the home opener! Love watching you play.
