Hass, one word: Sarno. Seriously man I suffered from mad back problems, same disc problem as you on L5-S1. Did all kinds of BS medications, rest, physical therapy, injections. You know what worked: Dr. Sarno. He's a doctor in NY who has a whole Mind-Body thing about why we have back pain that has nothing to do with what an MRI shows. Seriously Hass get ahold of this guy or at least read his book. It will only take an hour or two of time and it's worth a shot. You will be back kicking butt once again. He also has a dude in LA named Dr. Schecter who you could see on Friday before kicking some Niner butt.

Take care of yourself first Matt. That is the most important thing. You have a long life ahead of you and a wonderful family. Think about throwing your grandkids the ball in the backyard....Go easy. It takes time to heal! Try some Solomon Seal! It is a great alternative solution.
All the best!

Matt, Sorry to hear about your injury! Is there anyway someone could get a "copy" of the rehab. I have been fighting a similiar issue (not a pro athlete). And other than trying Chiropractic....
Will look for a post thanks

i can only tell you what it's like being a die hard Hawks fan in Dallas Texas. At times it is great, and others it makes you want to replay the playoffs when Romo dropped the snap. I am a Seattle native, born and raised. I have never given up, I hope you know there are people out here cheering you on from gerat distances. Go Hawks!!!

I am new to football and I watched my first football in Atlanta in Dec 07. You are a incredible quarterback. I am praying for your safe recovery on your disc and knee.

Good luck this season Matt. Little Rock is a lonely town for a Seahawks fan. You are a great character in a game full of players that don't worry what their actions do to shape the minds of others. God bless you and your family.

Hi Matt,
After reading all these message to you, I am glad to see you get so much advise. Only thing is, who is the professional Football Quarterback? Oh yeah, it is YOU! I think you are doing a stand up job showing great leadership. The record is the whole team, not just you. Love my Sundays, keep your chin up.
