Hi Matt, how are you doing now? Hope the pain subsided already and you are resting well. The last game was fine, you and the Seahawks did great against the Bears. And I believe you guys will be stronger next year. 
 
You must have known better than me about this year's China Bowl, on 08/08, in Beijing. The Seahawks vs. the Patriots. I hope you can recovery by then and be there! It will definitely earn a lot of fans for you guys. Have fun in the summer!

so i thought i'd let you know that you are part of the best team. ever. and if i get good grades this semester i get to paint my room. and of course it's gonna be seahawk colors. (home depot team colors! work of genius? indeed.) and i get put some new stuff in there...and i might get alexander and the seahawk helmet fathead...but. they're missing you. i think you should remind them how fantastic you are and they should make one of you. that would be crazy. my mom says thanks for getting me motivated to keep up my grades. and i hope you heal up fast and relax off a great season and get ready for a crazy one next year!!

My dad is a TOTAL Seahawk fan and i think he has completely rubbed off on me because every time someone tries to sack you in a game i scream "Dont you dare hurt my Matty!!!" at the TV!

Hi Matt ~ I'm thinking surgery wasn't the most relaxing way to start off the "off season". Glad you are getting it out of the way early though, so you'll be 100% by the first game this fall.  
 
I spent this past weekend in Seattle, and would you believe the first person I saw when I got off the plane was wearing a BEARS JERSEY?!? I can't escape. (at least I was wearing a Seahawks sweatshirt, but still!)
