Matt,
Thank you very much for another great season!! You are still the best to me and I bawled when we lost. I hope you are feeling better soon and pray for your speedy recovery. Take the well deserved rest and come back out next season and be ready to kick some more tail. I hope you never leave the Hawks you are better than Jim or Dave ever could have been!

Matt,
Get well soon! Hope you're back in time for next season because I have a feeling we will be going to the NFC Championship. It's hard being a displaced seattle fan esp. around all of these fair weather fans in san diego. Take care. GO HAWKS!!

Doug Stuhr    19. January 2007 | Parker Colorado

Matthew, I hope you have some time to just sit back, relax, maybe read some good books and think of anything but football for at least a month.
Thanks for another great year.

Matt,

Heard you had shoulder surgery today and just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts for a quick and healthy recovery. I'll be sending some positive energies your way. Thanks for another great season of Seahawks football. Best to you and yours!

For all of the injuries you guys had this year,to have made it as far as you did is impressive. You are a damn good quarterback and a tough competitor. What i really like is how the rest of the players on the team stepped up and played very well. The thing is each player when called upon to play there best did just that for a team effort. When you have a team that works together for the good of the team thats a championship football team, win or loose! The game in chicago is a great example. But then again so was your whole season.I am a rabid seahawks fan.And i think that the rest of the NFL teams and the fans of all the other teams are in for a rude awakening. The seahawks are ready to explode its only a matter of time.

Hey Matt,
Thanks for a great year. Thank you for gutting out a tough and painful season. You are the true definition of a team general/leader, as you constantly elevate the team above yourself, you make no excuses for an errant play; you reflect a lot of heart, solid character and a man who knows that life is about much more than a football game. I've heard some of the sports writers say, 'Matt's the real deal.' I agree. I'm proud to know that our 'field general' for the Seahawks is someone I can point out to my young boys and say, 'Now that guy is not only a great quarterback, he's a great human being!'

Have a great off season.

Gary

Thanks for the great season. Hope the knee and hand continue to heal ok. I'm looking forward to next season being able to watch you guys dominate again. With the extra $$ on the cap and a healthy season (knock on wood) I'll see you guys in the Superbowl again. My family and I are all big fans and wish you and the rest of the Seakhawks a wonderful offseason. See ya next season.
PS. When is your Fathead coming out, we got Shaun's, but still looking for yours.

Well, it's always been hard being a Seahawks fan in Chicago. But it's never been as hard for me as it was in Soldier's Field on Sunday.

Of course I wouldn't have given up that ticket for anything...every chance I get to see you guys, I take. And even though we lost this one, I figure at least we went out fighting. It was a great game to be at, just not a fun one to walk out of.

It was an awesome season, all things considered, and I don't think I've ever loved the Seahawks more than I do now. The heart you guys have all shown all year has been nothing short of inspiring, and I'm proud to still walk around in my Seahawks gear while surrounded by blue and orange.

[[ ...though I did have to take off the tire cover for a bit, at least until the threats die down. (: ]]

Take care of yourself Matt, your body seems to be begging for a rest. So be well...we all want to see you healthy as soon as possible!!
