Hell of a game sir. You guys made me proud, once again, to be a Seahawks fan. You played your hearts out and that's about all a fan can really ask for. I don't recall hearing a report prior to this game, that didn't seem to suggest that Chicago would walk all over you. My brother, die-hard Chicago for years upon years, was certainly biting his nails up to the very end.

Here's to a great 2007 season!

Matt, I am a huge fan of yours and the Seahawks! I had a long 6 hour drive home after the Minnesota game, wondering how serious your injury was and when you were going to be Thanks for another great season! I am counting down the days until I get my season tickets in the mail again this year! In the words of my 2 and a half year old daughter, "Matt Hasselbeck" is my favorite player and the "Seahawks" are my favorite team!!

Matt, you have EVERY reason to hold your head high.
The loss was heartbreaking -but all of you have proven you've got what it takes.
I'll be waiting to be blown away by the Seahawks' dominance next year :)

Cheers,
Krystina

***Remember, this is only a game and with all the troops in Iraq, put the game in perspective. That being said, you all played one hell of a game. Played your butts off when nobody expected you to be in it. You should be commended for that. Have a great off season, keep the guys focused.

Matt you and the guys are still a helluva team in my opinion. Ya we may have lost it, but you guys gave it one hell of a great shot. Considering all the injuries and other factors you've had to deal with through out this season, I say you guys made a valiant effort. I BELIEVE you'll all get your Super Bowl rings next year. You guys have absolutely nothing to be sorry for or ashamed of, you did your best with what you had available and took us pretty damn far. Thank you Matt for a great season.

Great effort out there Matt you boys laid it all on the line today, you guys had a fantastic year this year considering all the injuries and yet we still won the NFC West and won our NFC Wild Card game. I know next season will be even better as all you guys will be healthy and have even more determination to get to Glendale, Arizona and represent the NFC in SuperBowl XLII,you made some great plays out there today and really showed the national tv audience on Fox why you are one of the best QB's in the NFL.

Hi, I just had to take the time to write a short letter after the Chicago playoff game. I hope someone actually reads it, but even if they don't, it will help me to get it out of my system by typing and sending it.
I just wanted to say that I don't want the team or coaches to be too down about losing this game. The Seahawks have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, you played a hell of a game, and came within a breath of winning it. Even my brother, who has been a Bears fan for 20 years, told me that he found a lot of new respect for your team, and that if his Bears had lost, he would have joined me on the Seahawks #12 squad for the rest of the post-season. I think the game you played tonight erased the Oct. 1 thrashing, and served notice that the Seahawks will continue to be a major power in the NFL next season. Although I have never been to an NFL live game, that will change next fall, I guarantee I'll be heading up from Portland, OR to catch at least one game live. Anyway, basically all I want to say is, keep your heads high, and see you next season.

i have to say that even though the end result wasn't the one wanted, i have never seen a team put more heart into a game than you guys. look at all the stuff that the hawks have been thru this season and to say that its outstanding that you guys got that far, is just an understatement. i'm going to have to go to school on tuesday and hear from everyone about the game, but one of the major the differences between the hawks and the bears are fans. i say it was a good game and and well played by the bears. but i know for a fact that if you guys won everyone here in IL would have been saying oh well the hawks just got lucky. don't worry about the outcome of the game. look at the accomplishments of this astounding team and realize how special the hawks have always been and continue to be. thanks for a great season matt. keep it up next year! i can't wait!

Matt, you guys played a fantastic game! You showed everyone that the Seahawks ARE still great! I've been a Hawk fan forever, and lived in Seattle during most of the 80's and 90's during the Krieg days... I loved Dave, and you have put so much excitement back in the game that has been missing since then! Looking forward to watching you play next year, and may God bless you and your family.
