Hi, Matt. I know you're probably not feeling too excited right now, after the San Diego game. I wasn't right after the game... but the more I think about it, the more I think how well you guys did... really! I've been a huge fan since they originally organized the team and introduced the first players to the area schools. You guys--particularly you, Shaun, Jim Z. and the other really positive role models--have done a fabulous job of raising the team up from being an important part of the PNW to being a real Superbowl contender able to hold your own against any team in the NFL on any given day. You showed that today, even though the Chargers got that last minute TD, you held them and kept pace for over 55 minutes. You even outscored them up until the end. Don't be too down on yourself for today's loss. I'm really proud of the work you guys are doing. Every game you show its possible to win and still be a good sport--something I don't see that much of around the league--that and being able to hold your own in a conversation. I know that sounds pretty sad, but its true. Thanks. I konw I'm not the only one out here who winces when most sports heros are interviewed. I really appreciate being able to hear your lucidity. If I had kids, I'd want them to have someone like you to look up to. Thanks. Good luck in Tampa! And good luck in the Post-Season! Those of us who grew up in Seattle are incredibly proud of you and all you do! Stay Well & Merry Christmas! (I think it is so great that you've got Jim Zorn as your Quarterback Coach!) Have a great holiday!

Hi Matt,
I'm a big fan of yours. I also go to the same church as you do - Crossroads Bible. I'm asking Santa for a Matt Hasselbeck jersey and a Seahawks helmet.

Hey Matt,
I grew up with Pat Tillman, I served in the Marines while he was in the Army. I now have 3 sons, they all wear your # during game day...pre-school...etc. Thanks for being A REAL POSITIVE ROLE MODEL for my kids.

Hi, just wanted to wish you and your family a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a peaceful 2007. And I thank you again for being the reason I fell in love with football a couple of years ago. Sometimes I think of all I would actually get done if I still HATED football like I did for 36 years, but I'd be lying if I said I wanted it any other way. Football rocks and so do the Seahawks, no matter what the score is.

Hey Matt, huge Seahawks fan here from Philadelphia. I will be going down to see you guys play in Tampa on the 31st.Hopefully the Seahawks will have already clinched the NFC West by that time, but if not, then I look forward to seeing you guys clinch that day.It will be very exciting. I wish you well the remainder of the season. Merry Christmas and God Bless

Matt I have been a fan of yours since your days at Boston College. I used to work at the chestnut hills mall and see all your games. I hope that you are doing better and that the Hawks can make it back to the Super Bowl. God bless and good luck.

Matt, I'm a huge fan of the Seahawks and yourself. I grew up watching the old guard. Curt Warner, Steve Largent, Jim Zorn, etc. and my parents had season tickets for 10 years. I appreciate everything you bring to the game and think that you've had a good year in spite of the team being inconsistent. Happy Holidays and I hope you guys stomp on LT and the Chargers on Sunday! Thanks again for last season's Super Bowl trip, every Seahawks fan knows who really won that game regardless of the scoreboard.
