Matt and Seahawks-
Since I was a little boy I've been watching and waiting for a Seattle team to make it to some kind of championship (mostly the Mariners, I didn't get into football until 2005). By going to the Superbowl you and the Seahawks gave this city hope. I know that you guys can make it to the playoffs. Please, for this city, try your best, and make it to another Superbowl. Thanks.

Good luck against the Cards tomorrow...hope your hand and knee are doing better too.

I saw All Access this week where they showed footage from "Bring an NFL Player to School". How fun was THAT? I love that you do those things...you are an excellent role model for kids (and adults for that matter). I can't begin to imagine how excited that little boy must have been.

YOU'RE THE MAN, MATT!!

I love you sooo much     8. December 2006 | Idaho
Matt...

I love you sooo much! I have your jersey and I wear it multiple times each week. Also, I framed the Seattle Times newspaper picture of you when you single handedly beat the Carolina Panthers to give the seahawks their first ever super bowel birth!!! You are incredible! If you ran for president of the US I would vote for you and happily be your chief of staff if you wanted me to.

Anyways, Matt, I wanted to let you know that I have to constantly deal with a barrage of negative comments about you from my roomate Jordan, but I defend you and I even threw a bolling ball at him in a fit of rage one time. I hit his leg and left a bruse. He no knows better than to ever say anything bad about you.

I love you, and good luck passing for 5,000 yards and 70 TD's against the cardinals this week. I take the good luck part back, because I know it is skill with you.

love, Tom in Idaho
