Hey Seahawk fans...I thought I would check in with you as we prepare for our trip to Chicago to face the #1 seed in the NFC...Da' Bears.

Packing for a road trip usually entails getting online and checking a weather report for the city which we're going to.  That is not necessary tonight as it has been 28 degrees and snowing here in Seattle the past two days.  You might also think we were playing this game in Seattle with all the buzz around town.  The excitement for this week's game reminds me of our playoff run last year and what a thrill it was to be a part of that historic year for our franchise.  You gotta love the playoffs!

Looking back to our Week 4 game against the Bears, we have learned a lot about what it will take to beat this team on the road.  Although this will be our greatest challenge, I sense a great attitude  this week as we prepare for a game few expect us to win.  The pressure is on the Bears.  I expect us
to go out Sunday and play with fire and emotion as if we have nothing to lose.  I know I'm going to play this game as if it was my last.  Going into a hostile environment seems to strengthen our team and unify us.  If this year's team is going to make it to the NFC Championship game its going to
take a total team effort.

After all the obstacles and adversity we've been through..... we just might be up for that challenge.
